The total available acreage is approximately 28,067, although the size of the packages ranges from almost 5,200 acres to over 12,300 acres. The Central Alabama Package contains approximately 12,340 acres and is located in Butler, Crenshaw, Lowndes and Wilcox Counties. The Swainsboro Georgia Package contains approximately 10,582 acres and is located in Burke, Candler, Emanuel, Laurens and Richmond Counties. The smallest of the offerings is the Tattnall Georgia Package, which consists of approximately 5,145 acres and is located in Tattnall County. Each sale package is comprised of multiple parcels with a diversity of merchantable and premerchantable pine plantation age classes, as well as mixed hardwood timber. Offers will be accepted on each package individually, on multiple packages, or the packages as a whole. All bids must be received no later than 1:00 P.M (Eastern Time)on October 15th, 2008.
